The 924S decal thing

Right, now before you read the rest of the post, please remember that I'm a Project Manager. Which means I can't actually do anything myself, but I can write good reports on progress (if any). And if things go wrong, I take all the blame.

I can't find any decent versions of the "S" decal that goes on the side of the original 924S. Are you interested in one? Read on..

My criteria are a) Proper decal on clear substrate, not laser cut b) As close to OEM as I can make it. c) Colour, initially silver and black

Being a Project Manager, I reckon three things are needed to make this work:
1) Someone who lives in West London or in Bucks, and has a 924S with the decal. I want to take lots of piccies of that someone's decal, with a ruler for scale.
2) A decent signmaker, who can manufacture the decals (I might know someone who knows someone) from the above piccies
3) A list of people who want a decal (so we can bring the costs down)

If you're 1,2 or 3..here's your thread....

Well, someone has to..endangered species and all that.

Would they be willing to produce some S stripes? (unless I'm deaf, dumb & blind, I don't think it's listed at the mo)

Hi Peter
laser cut is fine if you have a strip, but the "S" decal is quite delicate, and because of the doors, you end up having 6 edges..which on a thin decal may lift. The substrate gives the decal a chance to stay on. The Original Equipment decal from Porsche was on a clear substrate.
