I have just had the opportunity to thrash the 991 C2S on a frozen lake in Finalnd. I spent about one and a half hours driving the car on each of 3 days so just under 5 hours driving in total.
First impressions what a fabulous car. Great balance and very responsive and easy to drive and drift. Love the interior and when you step back into a 997 it feels old. I thought the steering was very quick and enabled you to catch the car very quickly. Sports exhaust sounds great
This video shows what its like to drive it on ice

The thing I didn't like is that the PSM is set at a very intrusive level. The PSM interferes as soon as you start to drift so its not like a GT3 or any other 997 for that matter. I guess they have given it GT 3 levels of acceleration and top speed but they want to protect the driver who may not have GT 3 experience. Fortunately I had the PSM off for 99% of the time so not really an issue but I guess it will make it a safe car on the road even in the hands of the inexperienced
Everyone who drove the car liked it so in my view it is going to be another huge success for Porsche and deservedly so. It combines genuine GT ability with sports performance
