Really enjoyed your article in Porsche Post describing development of "The Beast-Gen1". Would be interesting to see how Stuttgarts ultimate offering compares to what you can acheive by "doing it yourself" so to speak...perhaps might even be worth another article if you have the time [;)]

Doug

I've been tempted by a final article, I might in conjunction with the new owner.

What I can point you to is the Porscheshop modified C2S in the 911 world magazine had identical changes under the skin to my car in the end. The difference being the Power kit engine on mine which made it much faster. They voted Ian';s as their car of the year 2010.

At the silverstone U drive, the instructor drove a few demo laps with me as passenger and thought it was a "fantastic car that felt like it had come straight from the factory" And thats the critical bit, Ian and I agreed that whatever mods we did would keep to the spirit of the car. Clive and Gary had a run in it just before the final iteration, all we did then was tighten up the torque curve to give it more umph from 2-3k revs and then make it feel and perform more like a factory car.

Just think Tom you can save money now
with 530bhp under the lid you won't need to upgrade for at least
a year[:D][:D][:D]

LOL[:)]

Yep but trying the it'll be more economical didn't wash with the Mrs. The color did mind.......[:-]

Its taken all my spare cash to buy so the only "upgrade" its getting for a good while is a trip to Centre Gravity once the suspension has settled and I have got to learn the car.

So six months then.....[:-]
