From todays AutoExpress the A-Z of the very best and worst cars from the same manufacturer is as follows:-

the best car ever.............................. is the one you own

come on we all think we own the best,....don't we?

if i had to choose just one which would i choose?............well that would very much depend on what mood im in as they are all so diffrent, but,i have to admit the Boxsters a brilliant all round car,its just a tad boring to drive compared to say the 944

eeeeeeekkk there going to get me.......run!

The best Porsche ever is mine ... but because it is mine. Therefore I have the keys and can use it when I want. This makes it infinitely better than any other Porsche, because all I can do with those ones is look at them.

Which is, emphatically, NOT what Porsches are about! [;)]

well it is only autoexpress... after all they managed to find a ROVER that was their best ! shouldn't that have been "Best : wasn't any !"

I'm a dedicated 911-ophile. Bought my first 22 years ago and still have three.

However, I have always regarded the Boxster, particularly the 'S', as '£ for £' the best Porsche you can buy. New or used, as an everyday road car, it really is a cracker.

Oh god, the "oh its only a Boxster" brigade will be up in arms, this argument seems to have done the rounds lately. [;)]

I recently sold my 996 Turbo for a brand new Boxster S and have had more fun in the last 400 miles than either of my 2 996's C2 and TT. But it's all down to indivduals at the end of the day but the Boxster in it's own right is an awesome car.

911, Boxster, 996 yes all good cars but the question was what is the best Porsche ever, Doe's this mean the best selling car or the "the best Porsche ever" It has to be the 917K.

I'd have to agree with the majority that the boxster is a fab car! ..but Paul does have a point there are other great porsches [:)]

No matter which one you have ..enjoy it!! [;)]
