Swapped a few emails with our friends at DMS, for a veritable bargain and with only a chip conversion can do fun things to a C2S Powerkit

401hp and 326 lb ft Torque...............or just shy of 283 Bhp/tonne up from 269 on the powerkit.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Tempting............[8|]

Any one else succumed tot eh dark side and can tell about the chip?

I have looked and read the articles, however as in your signature.. not until out of warranty [;)]
Tuned to make it more economical of course [:)]

But do you actually believe those claims to be true? A lot of these tuning companies say they increase power and torque but a lot of the time that is never really the case. Admittedly I've heard very good things about REVO remaps though.

anissut,

I cant speak for DMS's atmo petrol remaps but I had my BMW 120d re-mapped by them and it was awesome, miles faster everywhere and more economical too.

How do they do that ?

Yves, don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking DMS or what they can do with diesels but a normally aspirated engine is very different. My std M3 CSL went up against a DMS remapped CSL and there was nothing in it. If I had spent £500-700 on a remap I would expect a noticeable difference at least. All IMHO. Then again a C2S's engine is not on the limits like the CSL engine so I guess it could be possible.

I'm sure DMS could do wonders with that 335i engine though. [;)]

Yves,

Could you drop me an email please. I tried emailing you but it bounced.

Thanks,
Sunil

Oh yes !

Its been heavily reigned in so as to avoid comparrisons with the new M3. We already know that there is a reliable 380bhp in there as Hartge have already found it and brought a product to market.

I am going to leave well alone in this case and save hard for a facelifted 997 tt X50. Promise..........

Do you really want a TT or are you just settling because the GT3 doesn't have rear seats?

This is what I'm counting on:

[:D]

What I really like about the tt is its effortless tractor pulling power and the fact it can be tuned to virtually any state of madness.

An alternative would be a 3.8 litre GT3 with around 450 atmo Donkeys, rear seats and multi function steering wheel. That would see my money !
