The final piece of the Jigsaw (nearly)

As there's a little lull in the BBC coverage of Glastonbury and the world hasn't ended since we voted to leave the EU, I though I'd do a little update on the further upgrades to the car. Read on.....

As most of you know (the ones that come to the meetings), I have been spending a little bit of money on the car of late and not just to the interior. The whole ethos of the exercise goes like this. If I had to spec the car from new, what would I have chosen. The first two things I would have chosen are already on the car; sports seats and sport steering wheel. Next, Guards Red seat belts to match the big red calipers; bought and fitted at xmas. OEM Porsche sill umbrella bought and fitted. Ipod connection retro fitted in the centre console. Finally (interior) and for me the one thing that adds that final touch of class. Leather centre console lid in Porsche matching leather and stitching with the Porsche crest embossed on the lid. Again, an option as part of the Techequipment options. Finally RS60 Spyder rear lights. Please see photos below :)

Finally fitted to the interior, I'm well happy

RS60 Lights

All the upgrades I've done over the last few months are all OEM Porsche parts both above an beneath the skin as I'm a bit of a purist.

If anybody wants to know who did the centre console lid and are interested in having theirs done, pm me for the details.

Glastonbury's back on must go.

This Friday Mark so won't have it for wings and wheels event on saturday but will still go to support the event/club. When are you and Wendy going on holiday?

M & W - wow - all very nice fine tuning gear - all making your Boxter that little bit special - just watch that hot chocolate over your centre console!

Excellent job Mark, looking good, will have to get some crack on the iPod connection, getting a bit sick of having to keep changing the cd's, it's so 80's ??

No worries Dave, I'll see you at the weekend and show you what I've done.

Cheers
