The Invasion of North Devon by Region 15 and Register 992
I am sure North Devon thought it was being invaded, when some 50+ Porsche cars took to their roads to enjoy the very best scenery and sea views North Devon has to offer. Fortunately, the groups were heading in different directions, ensuring that the windy roads never became congested but giving the public in all parts something extra to see on the weekend. Arranging such an event takes extremely careful planning and huge thanks and well done must be given to Nigel Davies of region 15 for not only planning a stunning drive, but arranging the superb lunch followed by an excellent drive across Exmoor to end up parked in the VIP parking area in front of Knightshayes house. All this and the sun shone to show off the fabulous Porsche array of colors to include 2, yes 2, Oak Green Spyder's on the same drive. Apparently its easier to win the lottery than to see these 2 together.

As a 992 Register member, who attended our Devon weekend, it was a pleasure to meet the Region 15 members, travelling in the opposite direction. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
