A propos of nothing; I remember reading somewhere that the last 2.0ltr 924s had the teledials, disc brakes etc of the 924S. Has anyone ever seen one of these?

Cheers

James

It is a possibilty James, as the m474 sport pack which gave the 924 rear discs and five stud hubs was always an option along with the dog leg gearbox, which, would you believe, is different to the 924turbo's in that it had a 20mm input shaft. An ebay trader friend of mine actually dismantled an 82 MY 924 with the aforementioned and I saw it, so I know they are out there, but whether the last 2.0 was fitted with the bits I can't say.

Unlikely that they were 'S' parts, as the 924S had the later 52mm offset and aluminium trailing arms. As an aside: M474 was fitted mostly to North American 924 Turbos, which came with 4 stud hubs and K70 brakes as standard!

Hello James,

They did make some cars supplied with the teledial wheels tinted windscreen etc etc in the last months of 1985. I remember seeing it a 924 book by Jerry Slongier. I think[8|].

ORIGINAL: 944 man

........and obviously one in the wilds of Yorkshire. I believe there to have been 74 U.K. cars with M474.
