The Last tweak

Or should I last say last planned tweak

The tyres are know fairly much shot - so I am going to change the wheels for a set of turbo's and widen the tyres 10mm front and read (better turn in and better rear end grip with all the grunt).

Finally, fitting some sway bars and new drop links, which should improve the handling and predicatbility of the beast.

So unless anyone else can recommend any cheap ways to feed my habit and improve the beast, when this is done (next week) it will be the finished article. [8|]

I still can't believe that I had a new set of Turbo wheels sitting in my garage for nearly 2 years, then the day after I sell them you mention to me you want to buy a set Tom! [&:]

FYI - I see Vivid Racing now have a UK import branch (http://911uk.com/viewforum.php?f=45) that might save you money on aftermarket parts given the exchange rate.

I was gutted too, as I could have offered a bit more and still saved some cash.

Originally I was inspired by your HRE 40 Wheels to look for something similar but they either a) proved too wide at the front for 2wd b) looked too small in 19 inch on the car unless the suspension was dropped, 20 in ruins the handling or c) were way too expensive.

Thanks for the site address I'll have a look

Tom
