Hello everybody,

I am looking for feedback from members about a possible summer event.

Having recently joined York Gliding Club at Rufforth it would be possible for me to organise trial flights for Porsche Club members.

Once I find out who is interested I can organise either a daytime session or an evening session on a nice balmy day in the summer, possibly late June.

Costs will depend on various factors i.e. group size, type of launch (winch or aero tow) and height of launch (2/3000ft) and should range between £40-£100.

I am not solo myself yet but the club has excellent experienced instructors to provide any members, lady or gent with an excellent flight. You would probably get to fly the glider yourself.????????

Please let me know by signing up below if this would be of interest to you so that I can gauge demand and group size to get the most economical package for everyone.

Cheers,

Chris

We held a similar event in the SW a few years back and it was a great success. Good luck with it. Mind you, you'll be doing well to get a mile high in a glider.[:)]

Thanks for that captain. There are quite a few interested so it should work out ok.

A mile is about 5,000 ft so no problem on a good day!!!!

Many thanks for your responses everyone. I will try and get something arranged. Event will be posted on the forum and I may contact you for feedback on best time/date etc.
