Apologies if this gets asked often.

My newly acquired 993 Targa has just 3 option codes:
[FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=tms rmn"]425 [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=tms rmn"]Rear wiper[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=tms rmn"]567 [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=tms rmn"]Windshield green graduated tint[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=tms rmn"]C16 [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=tms rmn"]UK LUX spec: tinted windows, metallic paint, and a few other goodies.[FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=tms rmn"]

Does anybody actually know what C16 comprised of on a 1996 Targa? I also have air conditioning, and electric leather hard backed sports seat. I wonder what else C16 covers that I don't know about!!

Cheers

C16 means that your car is an official PGB car as opposed to a parallel import

no actual spec differences from what I am aware of...

The base spec of the Targa was higher than the coupe and therefore things like air conditioning, that appear as an option on a coupe, do not appear for a Targa.

Sorry but I don't know what the full list of the standard fitments are. I don't believe it was sports seats though as all Targa's I have seen have the standard seats in leather.

Ian.

No it does not.
It means its a UK spec rhd / mph car, not necessarily an official UK car
