I'd love to see it restored. The Porsche tractors always got an amazing amount of attention at shows when the owner was able to bring them along. They are wonderful pieces of engineering. Do the Lamborghini club have a tractor register? [8|]ORIGINAL: graham.webb Now That's what I call patina!!! Would you restore it or leave it as it is?

A farmer friend of mine up here in Formby used to cut the grass for R18's show pitch at Woodvale Aerodrome when the Woodvale show was held there . Last time he turned up in a Lamborghini with a front mounted 3metre wide flail mower drum which cut our huge area in minutes -turned out that it was "chipped" as all his tractors are-helped to make the job pay. Don't know if there is a register but this & all his tractors (which are huge latest models) have a telemetry system built in which reports back continually to the dealer (so he has to be careful with his chipping!)Do the Lamborghini club have a tractor register?

At the Dinslaken Show in Germany every year there are 20-30 Porsche Tractors on display. They do a parade and it is an amazing sight to see []

I agree.
Obviously get it mechanically tip top but just clear lacquer the rest. Do you have to freeze dry it or something to get the moisture out of any rust first?

No. But rust has a nasty habit of holding on to wet so that it can continue to make more of it. Very tenacious rust is. It even gets a mention in The Bible
