The sound of SSIs...

Hello chaps,

I'm planning on getting some SSI heat exchangers and a sports backbox from Tognola fitted to my backdated 1980 SC...so that I can get a bit more of a rumble or a sense of occasion back there. The current stock system is perfect for long journeys, I just miss the sportier sound I used to get with my old 68 911T.

I am just a little worried that I might be shelling out a wedge of dosh to give myself a droning headache on longer journeys. I know this is subjective but it would be good to do some homework before I get it all fitted.

Does anyone in R20 have SSIs fitted to their SC (or similar) so that I can have a listen? I am happy to drive to wherever you are or maybe you are coming to Fatboys on Saturday?

all the best

Mat
