The white knight ( a motorway anecdote ) ac cobra vs

Guest

New member

I was driving back from school today, on the motorway, and this "guy" in an Ac cobra was "playing" with me... Obviously my 944 Lux didn't stand a chance, this guy knew it and too well did he know this rather attractive lady in a peugeot was watching... ( idiot )

after a few minutes of: " i'm faster than you " ( obviously idiot, ur engine is 3 times the size of mine ... i-diot ) the white dot behind me with xenon ligt was a .......

....GT3 and trust me, he slaughtered the Ac cobra, the guy actually didn't even dear to have a go with the cobra...instead he went to the slow lane, played it cool, and pretended suddenly he was into cruising...

the white gt3 when overtaking me looked over and smiled in a "watch this mate "

the honour is safe.

I have seen a sort of similar thing only it was on a dual carriageway where a numpty in a cobra too I think it was a replica though was showing off tried to race someone and floored it but about a second later after a bit of tire smoke was going sideways into the barriers on the outside lane didn't look so smug then.

Kit cars suck, apart maybe from the Dutch version of the GT40 with Audi tunned engine, apparently it's an example of road handling...

I didn't realise the GT3 was actually very very nice, although plain white... i want one.. ( even the body kit is a bit too much for me )
there's a 911 4 to be won on 5th gear this week ( with gt3 body kit, oh well, i'm sure i can bear that ) it's worth trying isn't it... you can enter on their website. ( fifthgear )

Kit cars suck

Then you know nothing about cars making a statement like that. Why do they suck?

I`ve had (and rebuilt) two. A VX powered Westfield and a V8 powered Ginetta G27. Different to a mass produced car but dynamically amazing.

Ever been in a decent one? The only reason I dont have one alongside my 951 is that I dont have the room (or money at the moment) and it would be a third car due to practicality.

All of the cars below are very very serious cars. They may be basic but dynamically they are all astounding, well balanced and handling cars. Its more often than not the driver who lets the car down.

Paul, please stop posting these pics. I started making some odd noises and me GF thinks I am looking at porn rather then taking her shopping..[8D]

pjb,
Kit cars give people the opportunity to build their own car themselves. As far as I'm concerned, and regardless of the kit considered, this freedom is source for rejoice in our increasingly securitarian society. So even if you "just don't like them" you could try to consider them from a more remote point of view.
I would love a Westfield XI ... [8D]
