I have to park up close to the garage wall. But not this close!! [

I couldn't face looking for at least 5 minutes. Then there was that awful sick to the stomach feeling!
Still, I'm over the worst. Now it's just a case of finding the right place to get it fixed. Its mainly paint damage although there is a slight blemish in the panel which will need dressing and building up.
I'm in the far corner of Kent. Any one recommend a good paint guy in the Deal, Sandwich, Thanet area?

Porsche Post normally lists body specialist in the back. Either that or ring your OPC and find out who their approved body shop is - then call them directly and see if you can do a deal. For example, Porsche Centre East London use the VW dealer's body shop in Loughton. Hopefully it won't dent your wallet too much.

Guys, its booked in with UCL Coachbuilders in Deal. Got a couple of very good reports on them. Having the front bumper done as well (far too many chips to be perfect) as I want it to come back looking better than before rather than as before. Somehow, it makes the whole business seem less painful!

UCL do a lot of prestige cars - Lexus and Mercs and the guy assured me it would come home looking as good as when it left the factory. I think the price is reasonable at £605 all up. The bumper has pushed it up a fair bit as the wing alone would have been around £300. Thing is, I love my car and... well, you know how it is. [

It's going in at the end of next week. Will post a couple of pics and my concluding comments on UCL when she comes home.

It's all fixed. Really super job from UCL Coachworks in Deal in Kent.

Very professional company and the very best of workmanship. Not Porsche approved unfortunately so probably not the right choice for an insurance job.

However, for cosmetic work such as on my car, absolutely first rate.
Here's a couple of pics of my pride and joy restored to pristine condition. Had the bumper done at the same time. Couldn't stand those chips any longer!
