There's 15 Cayennes for sale under £20k

2005 on. Most of glitches gone and colour coded bumpers and DVD Nav.

Avoid manual transmission and cars without Sat Nav..

Black & Titanium most desirable..curiously silver is a colour dealers find hard to shift. Black or Grey interior..

[:)] Also ...... go for the highest spec you can find, 20" wheels look better ..... 3.2 offers slightly lower running costs, but a little lacking in the performance department.

Having just spent 6 weeks looking at Cayennes myself I would add:

Air suspension -desirable

Heated seats (leather v.cold in winter, heated rear seats too if possible to keep kids happy!) (lots on market with no heated seats but easy to spot on pictures of PCM unit on dash to save wasted journeys).

Avoid Savannah beige interiors (Black external and Ivory interior looks great on Range Rovers but Black and Savannah - remember Caramac choccy bars. Yuuck! - just doesn't work together on Cayenne IMHO).

Agree that 19 or 20" wheels look best but don't let this be show stopper as upgrades easily obtained on ebay and other sites.

Agree about '05 cars but bear in mind that '05 model year cars will also be found on a '54 plate.

Seems to be little in it now on 4.5 versus 3.2 pricewise so go for 4.5 everytime.

If you look carefully am sure you'll find the right car - I just did and can't believe how well 4.5 goes - had to scrape the dog off the rear window first time out. Never a problem in the 911 as the dog wouldn't fit in it!

Good luck in your search.
