Thermostat Location

Can anybody assist me in locating the thermostat on the attached picture. I think it might be where the red plastic cap is covering a pipe. Anyone know for sure ?

It's on the other side of the engine. You'll see two hoses on the left hand side at the back, and the thermostat is inside the bigger one of the two. You are supposed to need a special tool to remove it, but you can do it with a large pair of pointed nose pliers. You have to take the housing off - and it might be worth getting a large worm-drive hose clamp, as it has those horrible spring clamps on it.
