These off an Audi RS2?

You're half right Slim. The RS2 came with 7" rims and 245 section Dunlop 8000 tyres specific and unique to the model. They are no longer available an in reality these tyres were approximately equivalent to a 220 section. Lots of RS2 owners blindly fit 245 section tyres (especially Dunlop 9000 as they appear to be the replacent) which are indeed far too wide for a 7" rim. I have heard of several stories of carcass failure on RS2s because the tyres are too wide. Also the inner sidewall on the front can touch the track rod end with 245s. Scary stuff...
