Thinking of a Change

Hi chaps
Having covered around 30,000 miles in my ol' 944 Turbo in the past 3 years she is starting to show signs of stress (she is largely incontinent in the oil department) so think she should move to more restful pastures where someone can lavish time and attention on her.

But I want to stay in the Porsche fold so feel that a 968 would be a worthy successor. Looking around there seem to be a few Coupes/sports in the £5-8k bracket does anyone have any strongly positive/negative feelings about any that are advertised currently?

The two at Ninex look interesting

I am looking to change early Feb

Thanks

Jeremy,

Suggest you also ask on porsche968uk.co.uk, the 968 mob on there are far more active than on here! Having owned a tip coupe for 12 1/2 years and, for the past 8 months, a tip cabriolet,, the sports seats are deffinitely more supportive and, IMHO, comfortable than the comfort seats. Prices are all over the place these days - there was a low mileage tip cab on eBay (listing ended today), no bids at 4.5k! Conversley, people are asking high prices for CS's - which strikes many of us as daft.

in fact the white one at Ninex was my old road car, sold it about 18mths ago and the new owner is now moving abroad so selling it through Ninex. see: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3360869.htm

it now sports a Quaife LSD, new exhaust and I had it from 2003, giving it lots of TLC.

Thanks Gents, Mikoupe (mate of mine) mentioned that he had been around the track in your white one Paul and recommended it!

Agree that pricing is all over the place at the moment, silly money being asked for CS's and also some Cat D/C's!

I do around 1200-1500 miles a month and my current seats are a bit worn (the old girl is up at over 223,000 miles) so any newer seats will be an improvement!

I did join 968UK a few years back, will dig out my membership details (and sticker)

Hi Jeremy.
I'm selling my 1992 968 Cabriolet. If you would like to know more details, please email me at johngordonpollard@gmail.com
Regards
John

Hi John,
Unfortunately I have had to put the change on hold for a month or two, I also need the practicality of a hatch and 3 point belts in the back, even though I like the convertible
My 944 is a bit of a workhorse, here shown carrying my mountain bike and my daughter's Hockey goalie kit!
