I have a 1989 944 i want to replace my alloys for teledial alloys but the wheels and tyres on mine are bigger than the teledial alloys,would this cause a problem? Mine are 225/50r17 and the teledials are 195/65r15.would it handle different?

15" wheels will fit a 944 but not the S2 or Turbo.
You will struggle to find new tyres in 195/65R15 or 215/60R15 I believe, this was discussed some time ago and the consensus was that you can fit 205/65R15.
Have you got your owners manual? the tyre sizes are listed.
