Hey guys, I have a boxster s at the moment and I am now thinking of selling it to get a year old cayenne turbo. Is there anything that I should be looking out for? I want to make sure that it wont have been ragged silly!!

Just changed a 2003 Cayenne turbo for a 2005 turbo 500 if you can find one try a 500 before you make your mind up you wouldn't believe what difference 50 BHP makes. This is my third Cayenne and apart from oil usage the only problem I have had on the first two was regular bulb failure.

Thanks Nick, much appreciated. I shall be in touch with some OPC's next week to arrange a test drive. How does the cayenne compare with the range rover sport??

The Cayenee is far better in every way its in a different class don't even think of a RRSC slow, 12 -13 mpg if your lucky and depreciates like a stone.

with shogun on this one. only thing that for some reason keeps needing replacing are bulbs ggrr!! and using a trailer seems to make them blow faster [:-].

teat drive the range rover after you test drive the Cayenne and your feel the diffrence straight away.
1) power
2)body roll on corners

have to admit that i do like the interior finish and the options/choices better in the landrover though and the dealers are nicer too. (IMHO)

ok thanks, I shall go check it out and let you know what I think about it. As its going to be a 1 year old that I want to buy, is there any extra's which I should look out for? I know that I will definately want it to have sat nav and parktronics.

Turbo's have most everything included.

Dark colours tend to be better on re-sale.

Have fun looking!

IMHO Keep The Boxster S and get a Cayenne as well :D ... the V6 is honestly a great car .... if you do and you want a "lid down B road blast" you still have the Boxster S.. if you want to transport Grannies wardrobe to the tip you have the Cayenne ....

Personally I like the V6 as its pokey enought to annoy "most" cars and its "I dont care" enough to not take on the cars that are faster than it ... and it actually has very good off road capabilities... improve that even keeping the road tyres but add the Air Suspension option .. however add the Off road pack and off road tyres to it and its a pretty serious off roader

As to ohh its not a S or its not a turbo ... IMVHO so what ..............the 986 is not a 987 .. the 2.7 is not a S.. the Boxster S is not a 911 Carrera .. the 911 Carrera is not a (numerous 911 varients) ... the 911 GT3 is not a Carrera GT ... the 944 is not ... the 914 is not .. the 968 is not ... lets get over all that .. they are ALL our cars and they are ALL Porsches
