Thinking of selling my Concours 944 S2

I just got my 944 out of storage to display in the concours at the GNCCS at Beamish on Saturday.

Feeling guilty it is not getting used and enjoyed as it should these days ( since i got my Spyder ! )

Some of you know the car is very special ( should be after having £50k spent on her in last few years !)

Entered our regional concours twice and won both times. I would be pleased to hear from someone in our region before i commit to advertising.

Good to catch up on the weekend, the car looked great as always at the show on Saturday, I hope you had a good result in the NECC concours.

Yes , nice to see you & Deb. The show was enjoyable and well laid out , but the concours was disappointing in that no judges looked at the car or the other Porsche that i spoke to. We didn't stay for the results. At least its prepped now and ready to show at Witton !

Thanks Martin , i will be happy to see it go to an enthusiast / club member , but may advertise for more or just keep it. Lets see if anyone is Smitten at Witton

That club valuation would be very strong money for a 944S2 - top end of 968 sport money and approaching 968CS prices. However, IMHO based on the club valuation of my 968 cab 2 1/2 years ago, I feel the club valuation of my car was "optimistic" and to sell I would be looking at 15-25% less than the valuation. OK, I do not look at 944 prices online, but do look often at 968 cars for sale, and I see the same cars week in and week out.

Having said that, you may find the person looking for something special, which you car seems to be, so I hope you're lucky enough to find that person.

Hi Chris , fair comments. Its hard to put a price on cars like this. Most of the £50k spent on this car recently is “ under the skin “ mechanical rebuilds with all original parts. I would be better to keep and enjoy for 10 years before selling..
