Thinking of selling :-(

Sadly I need to consider (only consider) selling my C4S to pay the government its stamp duty on a planned 2011 house move. Its immaculate (aren't they all!) and full history, polar silver with blue inside, 55k miles....

I am thinking of sticking it on pistonheads for £35k which seems about £2k less than from a dealer but keen to know if anyone on here is either interested or has an opinion on the pricing of these chaps today. Garaged, no corrosion etc etc etc....

Cheers,

Mark

That seems about on the money.

We need someone with a spare anorak to start compiling one of those "993 advertised price" spreadsheets to take away some of the guesswork. It had all the relevant different factors, e.g. price, mileage, model, location, HPI status etc.

There was a chap on here used to keep one a while ago, but I don't know if he still does it ?

Present climate ... screw the Chain to the floor particularly if there is a New Build involved either at the top of the chain or maybe reselling a px .... don't believe what agents say ... speak direct ... sorry if it sounds common sense, but in the present market your C4S is the only thing keeping it's money .... Good Luck[:(]

I did a spreadsheet before buying my C2S, with 72 entries. At the time, there were four C4S advertised, as follows:

C4S 63,000 Mirage £35,900 Feb-10 Sold
C4S 44,000 Violet £37,900 Feb-10 Sold
C4S 58,000 Black £42,995 Mar-10 Sold
C4S 11,000 Arena Red £46,995 Feb-10 Sold

These were all trade sellers. Based on the above, I think you could get more than £35k for yours. Hope it helps and good luck with the sale.
