Yes indeed a great day out but the weather did it's best to spoil it .This is my first time at this event and have to say was impressed with the display of cars .Scott Kevin and Kim had there cars in the Sporting Bears Area where for a fee took people out on a drive in there preferred car and the passenger paid for the ride and all money raised when to the charity.A thank you to Tipec who welcomed 4 of our guys on to there stand with there cars making a fine display of over 20 cars and a place to shelter from the rain.
 
It was a good day but yes, it rained and it rained and it rained!!!![:mad:]
The Sporting Bears people were a great bunch and must've raised a few grand for the kids charities. Have to say, the rain didn't stop people buying rides although the whole event was stopped about 2.30 because of the flooding at the castle's entrance. Who do I owe money to for my tea and scone???

Brian, Bill, Keith, it was great to see you and all the Tipec people there too.

Brian, pass on my thanks to the TIPEC guys for letting us onto their stand, it was very much appreciated. Sorry I had go early but I've been there before with the heavy rain. By the time I got home it was worse here!!

Thirlestane is a great location especially on a dry day, thought there were fewer cars this year than in previous years but those that were there were worth it.
