Thirlstane Castle Motoring Extravaganza - 10th June

Hi all,

We have 15 tickets for this event on Sunday 10th June. If you would like to display your car at the PCGB stand, then please add you name to this post as well at the model and registration number or contact me at KGVance@aol.com, alternatively, contact Scott Laurie so a ticket can be reserved for you.

There are I think 2 of our members doing the dream rides for sporting bears. It's a great day out, lots to see and do, and no doubt we will have the usual BBQ set up if we get a volunteer to help!??

Meeting place will probably be Dreghorn Service Station just off the City Bypass - Time to be confirmed!

Aye right, I've enough to do - RO is in charge of the Roll Orders! Or maybe Don and Ann!!!
Any chance we could purchase gas burners and a kettle etc just like TIPEC as they always end up making our tea!

Show me which one works best for days out budget up to 50 quid and I'll get it and bring it along!

For the love of the club of course!!

Go into a camping store and buy a gas burner one around £15 inc gas cylinders and a kettle
Lidl are doing a pump style flask that hold 2.2 ltrs for £13 so fill it with hot water before you leave .
Or come over to the new Tipec gazebos for afternoon tea []

Don't let one persons action reflect on the hospitality of the rest of the membership of the club .. I think most will agree that a warm welcome would be received from both clubs .I think the days of us and them are long bye .
Will see you at the event looks like a huge turnout of Porsches will be there ..

Brian, can we purchase a cuppa and bacon buttie from the Tipec Breakfast Kitchen again??? Also if Tipec have a spare ticket, I'm looking for one for Raymond as I've no tickets left for PCGB as we are now up to our 15 ticket allocation.

I am going down to the Tipec weekend and will ask Neil the new RO if he has a spare ticket for Raymond and as Raymond is a member of Tipec if one is available he can get it
There are quite a few PCGB members who have a duel passports so the same would apply .
I have no idea as to how many tickets he has been allocated and how many have committed to going.

You can get a bacon roll and a cup of tea anytime []
