Its booked[:D],

Sunday 9th September R3 annual show will be held at Beamish Museum. This promises to be a fabulous event at a spectacular location. Full details to follow in Porsche Post and for R3 members in the monthly newsletter.

Following today's site visit to say I'm excited is an understatement.

Great news Ashley.

Excited eh!! I only get excited by the sound of the flat six at somewhere near full chat.
It's an age thing, I guess.
Hope to see you on club night.

Thats really good news I think it will be a super site for the show and a real boost for the club.

Well done Simon for all the hard ground work in researching it, it seems to have paid off!

Hi Ashley
Is this a change of venue from Raby Castle or in addition?
Sounds good

This is a change of venue away from Raby this year, The site is excellent and with the added attraction of Beamish it should be a excellent show and a small entry price to see it all I don't think anyone will be disappointed apart from anyone not in a Porsche that is

Thanks Graham
I will definately be coming to this as I'm sure will others from R7

Looking forward to it already as have been wanting to visit Beamish for a while
2 birds with one stone and all that

John

Hi all just back in from watching Boro get a creditable draw at Sunderland in the cup.....

As others have said feedback told us Raby was getting a little stale. Beamish provides a much better show area, no cow or deer muck, a much reduced entry fee for those arriving in a Porsche vehicle only and the added attraction of Beamish museum. Visitor numbers should be greater given we will be in full view of the general public.

Great to have our friends from R7 along you'll be made very welcome as usual

Thanks Ashley.
I agree, "dodging the cow sh*t" was starting to get a bit frustrating.
Will be in touch nearer the day.
John

Congratulations guys, this looks to be a really good venue change and should make for a really good busy day.

We were looking at arranging a visit to Beamish and now we don't have to so you have made my job slightly smaller.
