Those air / oil separators

When I had my inlet manifold off for cleaning the ICV, I removed the air oil seperator to check the seals. There was something rattling inside which turned out to be a baffle. However on removing the top I managed to break a couple of lugs. I sealed it best I could but on doing a smoke machine test to chech for vacuum leaks its was clear that the air oil seperator is leaking at the top.

My question is, are they the same across the range? I have a 944S

And if someone has one for sale please let me know [:)]

They slightly differ.

The one from turbo has an extra plug frontwards in order to supply vacuum to the engine/turbo mount.

Most others have a vertical outlet, but some (from the S2 and 968 I think) have a horizontal outlet, presumably as the factory found fit to get rid of the 90° rubber collar that always breaks from hardening.

As I looked at one from a S, I think it is specific because of the shape of the specific inlet manifold. The filler neck is offset rearwards compared with the S2's, if I remember correctly.

Thanks for that. The hose from the top is a bad design, mine looks pretty much flat from the bend which won't help things.
