Hi Folks,
Just joined the club last week after buying my first Porsche - a 1986 944 2.5 Lux. It's in reasonable condition, but needs a bit of TLC to get it where I want it to be. Has a years MOT though so is at least mobile (or will be once I get the gear linkage changed out !).
Being a newbie I'll probably have some daft questions - hope you don't mind !
I've put some photos onto Photobucket - however I must be doing something wrong as I can't seem to get them to show up here (not had any luck getting a photo to 'stick' on my profile section either yet). I have managed to attach a small image though.

Looks nice Andy. Welcome to the world of 944s . There are no silly questions, just silly answers. We all had to learn, and indeed most of us are still learning. Also where about in the country are you as you may find a friendly local member who can point you in the direction of local help as well as meets, runs etc
Thanks Colin,
I'm NE Scotland (Aberdeenshire - Deeside area). I've had a couple of emails from the Regional arm of the club about local meets which look great - just need to get my gear linkage changed out before attempting to move the car very far. Parts are order (Only944) so should be with me in a week or so.
