Hi all
Quick one....I was mooching over some US forums re spacers (some comments made re re increased wear and tear on the metalwork around the wheels) , and read about others moving their tyre size up (e.g. from 265 to 275 at the rear, corresponding increase at the front, no change in profile) with no adverse effects and supposedly a small increase in road holding through corners etc.
I can see the theory re a slightly fatter "road footprint", any thoughts from the informed masses? I've applied this in the past to my daily commuter (Volvo Estate...before you throw rotten fruit at me, it is a Sport version and has been remapped ! ), with positive effects.
Cheers
Craig
