Thanks for posting this mail - we are in Conwy this week and your mail reminded me the event was on. So have just arranged to marshall on the Great Orme section - will see you in full blooded action!

Did - but you were too busy trying to scrub off speed at the end of the Great Orme to notice (understandably ) - good event - nice cars and good weather.

Sorry to have missed you - I waved at every other marshall that I could see so you must have been the only one that I missed out. The event was really well managed and organised and after first hand experience of North Wales weather over the last 59 years, that week ranks up with the glory summers of 1959 and 1976. Hope you enjoyed it as well; we certainly did.
We are a bit rusty on rallycraft (18 months off) and made some unforced errors but still finished 25th out of 125 and 2nd in class. Encouraged that our scores indicate that we are capable of top 10.
