Throttle Position Sensor Fault

Have just recently bought a 944 2.5 8v with a head gasket issue.Upon strip down found the T.P.S sensor disconnected,so presuming it to be faulty left it disconnected.
Now with it disconnected it starts and runs but idles high at 1300 rpm. With it connected it idles ok but will not rev,so my question is obviously the sensor is faulty but is there away of repairing it?

If not does anyone have any for sale?

From what i know the lux uses a wide open throttle switch and a close throttle switch. I think the wot switch is on the accelerator pedal the other i think might be on the throttle body. Can you confirm which one you mean.
