Thruxton Track Day 2019

I also saw elsewhere on the forum, a rumour of this happening next year.
I've emailled Steve Kevlin to see if it really is likely to happen and to register my very strong interest.
It's a track I love, having first raced there in 1971 and not too far for me to get to from Devon.
Perhaps if Steve sees a lot of interest in this post or you lobby him directly, we may get it organised.
Fingers crossed.

It is not particularly cheap at estimated £470, but as "unlimited" noise (possibly 107db like Donnington noisy days) probably worth it. All other track day operators are running there at half that price with the track's normal 90db so I guess we are paying for one of the circuit's "test day" noisy slots. I ran my old 997 GTS on a Goldtrack 90db day a few years ago when the noise test guy said (with a smile) "you're just in at 89db" when the car normally tested static at 103db.

Thruxton is a really good and fast track, particularly after the complex and up to the chicane. Garages are poor but hopefully a sunny day.
