Thumbs up for Autoglass and Peart

Had a crack develop on the screen, so called the insurers preferred windscreen company, Autoglass. They said that they would normally fit a non-Porsche screen, albeit with the same sensors/tint. As I'm paranoid about the warranty/oem parts issue, I asked to have a Porsche screen fitted. They called for clearance from Aviva and then ordered the correct part which took a couple of days. Took it to their local centre today and a perfect job was completed in under two hours.

Sometimes these companies get some stick, but on this occasion they've been top boys.[:D][:D]

This is great to hear - I have had similar issues with Norwich Union and have Autoglass coming around tomorrow to replace windscreen on the 997C4S (using OEM supplied replacement screen). Hoping I will be as satisfied with the fitting....

Good for them

My Dad had a new screen fitted to his 997 by Autoglass. Had to ask for original Porsche glass, but they did not question it, just took time to order.

He is satisfied its a good job with no leaks and no marks. Took care of the car, all in all a good experience.
