Ticking 1972 911 2.4Te

O dear this doesn't sound good [:eek:]. I have a 1972 911 2.4Te whith mechanical injection. There is a loudish ticking noise from the right bank high up it almost sounds like its where the mechanical injection fits to the head. Its not a constant noise, if i play with the throttle i can make it louder or if i rev it mid way it goes. Any Ideas? - Jay (btw i am a member and have sent my details as the forum states)
