Ticking noise

Hi all
I've got a ticking noise coming from the back of glove box, airbag area, don't get it till above 60 mph, not allways there, gets faster and faster till I brake ,then stops. Sounds likes a relay opening and closeing very fast. I know the spoiler module is located behind the glove box, is this a common spoiler module problem? Or have I got the wrong part?

Hi Steve, you need a louder exhaust mate!

More seriously does running the spoiler up before you start out make any difference?

I don"t know, only started yesterday. Went on the ST George's rally, had my mate in a Boxster following me, he said the spoiler was a bit erratic. Started to go up but went back down etc.

Ps it's a cab, so loud enough for me[:)]
 
If the spoiler was erratic then I think you have guess correctly and the problem is some combination of the relay and the microswitches on the spoiler mechanism.

The relay on my car is behind the carpet/plastic panel to left of passenger's feet, so easier to get at than behind the glove box.
