Tidying up headlights?

They are looking a little tired and wondered if there was anyway of tidying them up? Or will they need replacing (a few £££ from what i can see)

I can not make out if the marks are on the surface or actually inside the glass!

Any advice? Thanks.

I would first try a plastic lens polish like Macguiers Plastic X. Its supposed to be great at removing hazing on headlights.

If there are severe scratches then you may need to get them buffed.

Probably the cheapest option before you start looking at new headlights

Mine were similar and clayed them, very carefully, now a lot better and very smooth.
Also did the back lights and full width reflector which came up great[:)]
I was supprissed by the amount of stuff that came off on the clay.

Toothpaste is quite good.
Toothpaste, Fabric Conditioner, what's next? Toilet Duck for cleaning under the wheel arches? [:D][:D][:D]

MrsEast must get fed up with you raiding the household cleaning products.......

Toilet Duck brings a whole new meaning to porta loo, a high speed one at that!!!!
Perhaps Porsche should bring out one!

LOL...

Its better than that crap Halfrauds sell.

Toothpaste is great for polishing metals as its a very fine cutting compound.

Tried toothpaste! Hasn't cleaned them particulary well but they are now minty fresh and pearly white.

On a serious note.

You will get different results with different toothpaste's something like Colgate total is good.
Not the gel type pastes.

+ Like you said some might be on the inside.
