Jeez, time almost stops when ur waiting to take delivery of your first Porsche! I know the cars at the dealer as well which make it worse, could have had it early but am waiting till March. What can I do.......i know i live next door to a doctor, perhaps he can knock me out till then!! hehe.

Anyone else waiting, what you doing to kill time?

Me too. I couldn't stop myself and called Porsche Nottingham today to see how my steed was getting on. Its been foaled in Finland and is waiting for a boat. should arrive 1st March.

Its a bit like Christmas however. The anticipation is part of the event. It's good to have something to look forward to!

I am a doctor and I've not had to dip into the black bag yet. I might have had a glass of beer however [:)]

Pretend you don't have enough money and need some more time to sell shares, earn more, get it out of some investment, sell body parts, etc.
Then you start to panic about how you are going to pay for it when it arrives.
Then once you are sweating, and what seemed like a good idea 6 months ago when you ordered it, and seemed like an even better idea 3 months ago when you specced it, suddenly seems a little rash.
Then you 'll find the time speeds by and before you know it they want you to pick it up. The you'll have take your jar of coins from the back of the sofa down to the OPC to pay for that option that you now wish you hadn't chosen.

Spot on.

Except I held the reigns tightly as we galloped through the spec sheet.

At least only one of the children is up on ebay.

No need to sell, hire me a nipper so that I can send him up the chimney with a brush. I'll pay over standard Dickens rates and will go up to four bob a day....

Chill out there tiger, its not a dissertation, just a forum post, no need for your blood pressure to increase unnecessarily.

I study MSci Physics, so it has been a while since my last spelling B, so you must forgive me.

Yes but it's so nice to see the English language written in... well, English!
