tiny rust areas - how to get rid?

Hi all,

I have some very small areas of corrosion (really tiny) at the base of the windscreen and on the inside just ahead of each door. Simple to clean up I would think but my question is on which rust-protection to use? Is there a brand or make that appears to work better at damping down any future corrosion before touching up with a paintstick?

Cheers,

Mark

Booger!
Checked windscreen surrounds and found dreaded bubbling small area offside front.Anybody know of a reputable bodyshop in Suffolk?

Thanks all,

It is around the base of the screen under the seal for the wing - kind of hard to describe really!

I agree with the professional bit. I went to gtr motorsport in Sindlesham today and those guys really know their onions! Getting them to quote and rectify quickly..they also have an RSR out back they are doing for a customer....a lot of cash!!

I checked on the web but could not find "gtr motorsport" in Sindlesham. Do you have a phone/web address?

Thanks

What Porker993 said. (I know... I've been away for a few days and missed all this.)

If you don't find anywhere good and want to try the body shop in Aldershot I used (see the other thread Porker993 mentioned), I can pass on details.

Not your area, but i have been impressed with GT-One who remedied a rust bubble under the rear scren rubber for me. Also, they are easy to reach being just of J11 of the M25. Either way - get this sorted asap - it could well be worse than you think, but hopefully not too bad if caught early...

good luck
