Tip Breather pipe.

I had a small breather pipe filter on (because I have a tip)
But then I thought I don't actually need this, I can just take it down to the Air Box.
As originally it is routed it to the intake anyway.

Anyone have any adverse opinions?.

Regards.

Sorry the photo was taken on my phone (wont be doing that again)

Difficult to see from the photo, but that could be the vacuum pipe which controls the heat exchanger for the Tiptronic cooler, and it DOES need to be connected to the throttle body.

Hi Richard,

Would the vacuum not be the same is at the Throttle body inlet?.

Its the same open space clean side of filter.
I looked at it for hours and its the difference of one end of the air box or the throttle air intake pipe from the air box?

Same air same pressure?.

Or am I missing something?.

Regards.

Is it this pipe? If so, it is called the "venturi tube" (Tiptronics only) but I don't know what it does.

I thought you might mean the small (5mm-ish) pipe which provides vacuum to the cooler valve.

Hi Richard,

Yes that's the one.

found out the answer Here

So I think how I have it now is better than it was before and how I have seen others in the past with a breather filter on its end.

I realized after my picture it was so bad you thought I was referring to after the the throttle.

Thanks for your help again Richard.

Regards

Richard.

Might take her out on a date now!.
