Tip gearbox problem

Hi,

My tip is behaving rather strange works fine in auto mode but in tip mode going up the gears there seems to be a delay in actual gear change although the dash says it has changed there is also a change in engine sound its a split second thing but is bugging me going down the box is ok. Its similar to a slipping clutch on a manual but as I said in auto there is no problems. She is due a service and transmission oil change will this help?
