Tip to manual conversion?

Is there any information about the feasibility of swapping out the tiptronic to a manual box, much in the same way as Ferrari 355, 360 and 430 are doing? I appreciate the Ferraris already have the manual box in place and are getting rid of the f1 gubbins but bearing in mind the desirability of the manual and the value differential I wonder if this would work.

Surely the price difference would be taken up by the work? Its got to be a £20K plus job

I'm sure a converted car would be valued at far less than an OEM manual as well

I think Oli Tappin at Bure Valley has, or had, a converted 964. Might be worth asking him.
