I have an intermittent tiptronic emergency run fault when the engine is hot which points to N2 speed sensors fault when scanned, one question I have is if I end up changing the conductor plate can this be replaced without. a need to extract software or reload software?
I will also share one issue I have found which is the 14 pin tiptronic plug shows pin 3 , this looks like it’s pulling out of the plug this is the N2 signal wire according to a wiring diagram ,there is continuity at the connection but it may be the issue,
Have any 996 members seen this wiring issue of tiptronic exposed wire at the plug before on their vehicle producing an intermittent emergency run fault when the engine is hot?
