Tiptronic Emergency Mode

My 2005 997- C2 Tip has had the "Tiptronic Emergency Mode" warning light appear on the central display. This has happened over 3 times in the past week I stop switch off and restart and the warning light disappears.

There is no apparent problem driving the car.

Any ideas what could be cause of this?
 
Hi Matey,
I had this in my 06 car, a few times over a couple of weeks, but no actual probs with the car. I think its to do with the electronic switches in selector quadrant. One sensor says " okay I'm in Drive, lets go" another sensor says "hold on I'm not in drive yet". In my case moving selector up and down quadrant got rid of message. OPC couldnt find anything wrong anyway.
