Tiptronic Gear oil change

Robin at Ninemeister recommended a gear oil change for my 93 C2 tip and as this is my first Porsche I was happy to follow his advice, eventhough I didn't really think there was anything wrong with it ----but wow what a difference it has made. The change is now super smooth and noticably faster. We have enjoyed a very spirited drive to work this morning through some nice Oxfordshire B roads.

I bought a brand new 993 Tip in 1995.

Drove to Klosters, via Spa, and back, via Stuttgart, and was disappointed that the upchange was a bit rough and noisy.

My OPC agreed to change the oil for a special specification 'synthetic' lubricant. It cost over £150 (covered under warranty) but transformed the smoothness and speed of the tip box.
