Tiptronic steering wheel Help

Hi guys,can anyone tell me if the switchs in the steering wheel are a normal on/off microswitch?
I want to change my steering wheel and would like to fit a quick release boss with paddle shift from quickshifters and I am too lazy to take my wheel off to look at it. Thanks
 
The switches are on-off-on, sprung to the centre 'off' position. The contacts ground the upshift and downshift signals to change gear. It should be a simple replacement.

I have just mated up Maserati paddles to a tiptronic,they twork well.
Will upload pics when they are fitted properly as the ty wraps kind of spoil the overal look at moment
just have to make carbon bracket and spacer to fix
