Any thoughts about having tiptronic oil changed on a 48000 mile 996 turbo if so what interval should it be done

i'll be doing mine as soon as poss, we're at about 55k miles but only just got the car.
Book time is 96K miles but clean oil doesn't cost much; i think there's a filter to change as well.
Cleanliness is very important as is correct oil and possibly exact level.
I haven't looked through the WSM procedure yet.

Definitely worth doing at half the book figure. The problem is that the system has a capacity of about 9 litres, but you can barely get 3.5 litres out when draining. Therefore, you are changing less than a half the fluid.

I got a quote for the tranny fluid change from my OPC, £640, but if i book in July they will do it for £570, bargain I thought !!!!!!!!!!

I think it needs to be changed at 96k miles. I changed mine early did not notice a real difference but probably better to do early if you drive hard.
