To Klay or not to Klay ? ( or should that be HD Cleanse ? )

Guys,

Its that time of year again when the tub of Zymol Glasur patiently sitting in the fridge ( for nearly a year ! ) wants to come out and play.

Question is, do I just wash and clay bar the car and put on another coat of wax or does it need to be HD Cleansed again back to 'untreated' paintwork ? When I did it last Spring the results were fantastic and it still looks good even now.

I dont have a problem doing the full works but it takes so long that there is the loss of family time at the weekend to be considered ( Rob take note....... ).

Thoughts anyone ?

if you haven;t cleansed or klayed for a while, it really is worth doing the full job. wash, rinse with 0ppm purified water, bacon sarnie, klay, cleanse, glasur. trolley jack, wheels off, clean, coat wheels & tyres, back on, job done. that does take time, but its worth it, and depending on how much and where youdrive, the subsequent 6 washes should be straight forward.

I seem to think it took me 4 days last time including interruptions but what a fantastic result.

Time to open up negotiations with Mrs Y !
