Toad Laserkey Immobiliser

Hi, the car has the above CAT2 imob. fitted, but the accompanying paperwork is blank, so no serial number. What does the box look like and where is it likely to be situated (I'm looking for the serial number to get another immob. fob). Thanks.

Look in the following locations.

1. On or behind the ECU board in the passenger footwell.
2. Above the glovebox
3. Under the front seats
4. Under the fuse box (lift it up from under the bonnet and look to see if its sat on the shelf bellow the fuse box.
5. above the steering column.

Your going to be either looking for a black plastic box or a armoured metal box (if they have installed it like I do!)

My tip would be to find the recepticle for the key or the LED, and trace its wiring back.

If your in our area, pop in and we will hunt it down for you.

Thanks Jon, but I am in Glasgow. I'll look in the places suggested -- will this give me the serial number I require for the replacement fob? All I have paperwork wise is a blank (!) certificate number 568***. I suppose Toad need the serial number of the unit and not the certificate number for a replacement fob?
