Today was a good day

My ex demo basalt 2.7 arrived today from Aberdeen. It was filthy when it came of the transporter and some oil or petrol had fallen on it from the car above, which took me ages to clean off.
Other than that, absolutely delighted with the car. Love the sound at 5,000rpm. On board computer is pretty cool as well. There is a bit of wind noise from the drivers side window. Is that normal? the steering is much more direct than my Civic TypeR.

Cant wait to drive to work tomorrow. Had a massive grin all day today!

the weather last night and this morning was scary. Drove to work at 7.30 and there was nobody else on the road, just a few stray bits of roofing rolling by and a coke cans flying through the air at 100mph. I was really worried about the car getting hit by something. Strangly now it is calm and sunny!!!

thats Scotland for you.

Don't know what the fuss was about? I flew back to Edinburgh last night. Couple of small bumps on the way down but nothing bad. Arrived on time, drove home across the bridge. Nothing too bad. Got up and went to work as usual with no problems.

Try standing at the top of a mountain and that would have been scarey. Ski-ing in Scotland was always wild and windy so must be used to it.

It was wilder last week in Kinross.

Last night was nothing compared to the night before. Seriously, I havnt seen anything like it before. My shed left the ground, dispensed of the roof and threw my power tools and my lawnmower to the other end of the garden.
