TODAY WAS A SAD DAY :-(

I've been lucky enough to own a lot of cars and a lot of Porsches over the years but none of them ever got to me quite like this one did.

Today I said my fond farewells with a lump in my throat but know its going to a nice new home.

See ya bud, gonna miss ya :(

Happy new owners:

The end of an era... or is it. I know there are a lot of other Porsches out there for you to tick off the list, but I'm sure you'll be back in 964RS ownership sometime in the future. [:)]

Hi Jason , I really feel for you ,BUT look at what your going to have soon a dream car imho so chin up

Just think about the Euro rate and the profit and that should help.

New one will be even better on track. Are you bringing it to Spa next year?

Its always hard but i'm sure the new one will bring you just as much if not more joy... keep your chin up![:)]

Jason.
Congrats on the sale...[:D][:D]
The last time i saw your car , was spinning wildly in a cloud of tyre smoke, in my rear view mirror, at Donnington...[;)][:D][;)][:D]
Still ,,it looked stunning...
Great memories.Priceless....

Things were getting a little heated that day - i thought i was going to take his front end out when he was facing me....then Mr Hooper came in from the left. Good memories, sad day for you Jase, all the best to the new owner. Your new one will be too quick for us! The RS is dead, long live the RSR? When will it be 'revealed'?

Ahh yes....more fond memories....hot sunny Castle Donnington....tyres completely cooked, finished for the day. Then sees all the 968 boys all go out together. Bugger it, lets go chase them and have some fun!

Never laughed so much as all the freshly cut grass came flying through my open window and a blur of 968's in front, behind and to the side of me. If I close my eyes I can still see Dave screaming! [:D][:D][:D]

The RSR will certainly be a great replacement but there is no fixed timescale on it being restored to new. Paul knows I want it done as best as possible and am sure he is the guy to do it here. If it takes a little longer but works out a little cheaper then that is what I have to do at the mo....although i am going slightly ebay germany crazy.

Interestingly Adam who bought my car has found an independent local to him called APP. He says they get raved about and has been down and they have the most incredible engine rooms where they build Porsche engines to race specs and trial. So it was nice when I found out my RSR engine was built by them.[:)] Explains the stupidly high invoice cost and Tony's ability to harrass all the newer machinery over last few years.

My black and orange car will be sorely missed and the garage does seem a bit sombre without it. No car has ever made me sentimental but this one really did[&o]

Hey ho onwards and upwards....[:)]

The RSR should make up for any lost enjoyment...

Enjoy the new ride....

I got on offer on my 964 RS... Don't know if I can do it.. Sale of the Hot rod fell through.. i am glad I still have it. I need to make a little more $$$ and keep em all.

See you in Baja...

Tricky one Joe....what you been offered? Its the one you said you'd never sell remember though....

What happened with the hot rod? I'll give you what it cost you. :)

What you really need is a 67S...... [:D]
